TiviMate Error on FireStick

TiviMate errors, such as “An error occurred” (HttpDataSourceException), 401, or Data Source Exceptions, are usually caused by expired playlists, ISP blocking, or server issues. Immediate fixes include clearing the app cache/data, restarting the device, trying a VPN, or checking that your IPTV credentials are correct.

Common TiviMate Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Clear Cache/Data: Go to your device’s app settings, select TiviMate, and choose “Clear Cache”.
  • Check/Toggle VPN: Your ISP may be blocking your service. Turn on a VPN, or try a different server if one is already in use.
  • Verify Playlist/URL: Check your M3U or Xtream Codes URL for typos (spaces, wrong letters) and verify it hasn’t expired.
  • Restart Device: Unplug your streaming stick or box for 30 seconds.
  • Check Connections: Ensure you are not exceeding the maximum connections allowed by your provider.
  • Reinstall/Update App: Delete and reinstall the latest version of TiviMate.

Error-Specific Tips:

  • Error 401: Usually means invalid credentials or that the service has expired.
  • Data Source Exception/HttpDataSource: Often solved by using a VPN or checking that the playlist is active.
  • Parser Exception: Try restoring data from a backup or re-entering your playlist details.

If these do not work, contact us to verify if their service is currently online.
